The Battling Brothers

Hey there - I have some new pictures from a recent photo shoot with the "Battling Brothers". Wrigley (the instigator) and Leo (laid back - kind of like Towely on Southpark) gave me a run for my money during the shoot. Wrigley (or "Wrigs") is a Jack Russell with a lot of spunk -he thinks he runs the show but Leo has a gentle way of telling Wrigley to "Chill out buddy!".

Leo's owner (Tony) is from Chicago and he was on his way to New Mexico to do some mission work (such a "do-gooder" guy (insert sweet smiling here)). Tony stopped at a gas station and saw this little puppy hanging out by the gas station. He saw that his collar was too tight and asked the gas station owner whose dog it was. The gas station owner said that the dog has been hanging out there for a few weeks - no owner. Tony went and bought a donut. Tony gave it to Leo (hey - who is going to turn down a free donut?) and stole Leo's heart all in one swoop. After some debate with some people in the car - Leo was welcomed in the back seat and away they went to New Mexico. Leo's owner never put him on a leash during the entire trip (Tony didn't want to force Leo's to be "his dog"). They visited the Grand Canyon and completed their mission work. Leo never left his side during that trip and ever since that day (I think the donut sold the deal...).

I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them - Cheers, Diva J
